What's New

Product renamed from Vibe Remote to Btelo Coding. All product, website, CLI, and install references now use the new name. The btelo-coding command is the primary binary (the old vibe-remote command still works as an alias for backward compatibility).
Website now defaults to a dark theme, with a sun/moon toggle in the header (right of Get Started) that remembers your choice across pages and reloads.
iOS app now defaults to dark mode on first launch if you haven't picked a theme.

Unified card, button, and border colors across homepage, pricing, docs, changelog, blog, and footer for a consistent dark look.
Pricing card borders (FREE and PRO) are now clearly visible on dark backgrounds.
Hero animation (terminal + phone mockup) is fully legible in dark mode — previously several icons and the input field disappeared.
Header menu links no longer carry a permanent background; Get Started is now a prominent solid-white pill.
Testimonial and marquee edge fades blend into the dark page instead of showing grey blocks.
Windows install snippet on the homepage now ends with btelo-coding to match the renamed binary.

Fixed the header/footer logo staying on the white (dark-mode) variant when you switched to light mode — the logo now correctly swaps between the colored and white versions based on the active theme.

Btelo Pro subscription now activates within seconds of upgrade.

Updated download, issue, and discussion links to the new btelo-vibe-coding-release repository.

Fixed an issue where upgrading to Pro on btelo.com after signing in on the app would not take effect until many hours later. Pro status is now picked up immediately when the app launches or returns to the foreground.

Btelo subscriptions are now treated the same as admin-granted Pro days, so a temporary btelo.com outage no longer downgrades a paying user back to free.

Added "Sign in with Btelo.com" on the login screen. Btelo accounts that hold a Pro or Premium subscription are automatically recognized as vibe-remote Pro, alongside existing iOS App Store subscriptions.
Login screen now has a language switcher and a theme switcher in the top-right corner, so you can change the language or light/dark appearance before signing in.

Refreshed login button styling: Btelo button is black in light mode (white in dark), Apple and Google buttons are white in light mode (black in dark) for a cleaner, more consistent look.

Simplified notification system — APNs only with silent Dynamic Island expansion

On macOS, task completion now shows an in-app banner (since Live Activities are not supported on macOS)

Notifications now always use APNs, showing a banner even when the app is open — consistent with how system notifications behave
Dynamic Island expands into a large card when a task completes, without playing an extra sound (APNs already handles the alert sound)
If you have "Show Previews" set to Never in iOS Settings, the notification title now says "Enable notification details in Settings" as a helpful prompt
Removed the in-app completion banner overlay — APNs handles all notifications uniformly
